The Maple Grille was established in order to provide the highest quality local and seasonal ingredients to valued patrons. Located in Hemlock, MI just west of Orr Road, the Grille was originally designed as a hobby maple syrup evaporator. Eventually, the planning of the Grille developed and started to emerge into the offering of seasonal food solely cooked from an outdoor wood fired kitchen with both indoor and outdoor seating.
The Grille is located on six acres which allows us to grow and harvest a majority of the produce and various ingredients used, on site. By eliminating a number of outside suppliers, we are able to accomplish considerable savings in food cost, and in turn these savings can be passed on to our patrons, providing fresh locally grown and raised menu items at a value. Besides the produce being grown on site and with the help of other local area farms, we purchase whole live beef, pork, chicken, and fish from within the state as well. By purchasing whole animals directly from the farm and raising them ourselves we are able to provide the freshest meals possible to our guest.
Moving forward, The Maple Grille has been a success with the public and while remodeling we noticed an interest from the local population that we continue to expand into a full service restaurant. The overall goal of the Grille is to become a one of a kind, fresh, seasonal, full service wood fired kitchen, which provides mainly local Michigan products to our customers.
